Safawi

Safawi dates are a traditional Saudi Arabian date variety originating from the Al Madinah region. They are a soft, semi-dried date variety characteristically identified by their particular deep black color, their length and medium size. They are more oblong in shape as compared to Ajwa dates. They boast of a dry taste and texture on the outside and soft moistness on the inside with a sweet taste.
